To register in core courses in English at the 200-level, students must be accepted in a concentration in English and have a mark of at least 65% in one 100-level ENGL credit. To register in service courses in English at the 200-level (i.e. , in ENGL 201*, 202*, 203*, 204*, 205*, 206*, 207*, 208*, 210*, 227*, 228*, and 265*), students do not need to have a concentration in English but must have a mark of at least 65% in one 100-level ENGL credit.
There is an exception, however: for some of the 200-level service courses in English (ENGL 201*, 202*, 203*, 204*, 205*, 207*, 208*, 210*, and 265*) the Department may waive the prerequisite for third- and fourth-year students in other departments who have had some experience in courses requiring essay writing. Students in this category will not be able to register by QCARD and should contact the Department for permission. More.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
