What are the pros and cons of online home schooling and a regular high school?

Online schooling is not regular homeschooling. You are considered enrolled in the sponsoring school (either public or private) and must follow their rules, schedule, curriculum, and assignments. If something isn't working, you are stuck using it.

There may be long delays when asking for help. You don't get to see your teachers every day to ask for help. You have to be fairly self-motivated to get the work done by yourself.

It's easy to procrastinate or get distracted and fall behind. Many online schools have a low success rate with many students dropping out or failing to finish their courses.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
