The qualifications to nominate someone to win the prize are: Quote: 1. Members of the Swedish Academy and of other academies, institutions and societies which are similar to it in construction and purpose; 2. Professors of literature and of linguistics at universities and university colleges; 3.
Previous Nobel Laureates (winners) in Literature; 4. Presidents of those societies of authors that are representative of the literary production in their respective countries. End quote.
Anyone who is qualified and who feels an author is worthy can submit nominations for the prize, an author can even nominate themselves. Also the committee sends out invitations to authors they feel should be nominated for the prize. One peculiar aspect of the judging process is that the names of the nominees and pretty much everything else about the nominations cannot be revealed until 50 years later.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
