Lets start off by saying that their are several factors that affect the marketing environment; where the factors, when broken down, are known as Micro and Macro environmental factors. Micro-environmental factors includes all those elements internal or close to the organization that has an impact on the ways in which a company can successfully satisfy the needs of its customers or that may have a direct impact on the organization's strategy. These micro environmental factors may include the organization's customers, organizational suppiers, employees, the media, competitors and shareholders who have a vested in seeing the organization succeed.
Micro-environmental factors refers to those elements that are beyond the control of the organization, that may affect the organization's strategy and its ability to satisfy it market effectively. These factors iclude demographics, the economy, technology and the political stability of the country or market that you are currently targetting.
