What are your thoughts on Kim Jong Il's death?

What a shame, he looked like such a cheerful man...

It could result in a civil war. Kim's son did not have time to gain total control from his father.

I think I can hear the crying all the way over here. I saw a documentary on North Korea and they praised him like he was a god.

Well that's just great! Now we got a newbie dictator to worry about on top of everything else.

Good, about time. Wonder if the populace is secretly rejoicing and hoping the same thing happens to the rest of his family.

Oh that's just great! Now we have to deal with his morbidly obese 26 year old misfit of a son. This is the only hope the Kim family has to retain power, which I personally believe is unlikely.

Worse than that scenario, is the dreaded possibility of a military coupe. Those fanatics who run that god forsaken waste land, are the worst of the worst.

Hopefully, his son will be more sane and in touch with reality and will free his people from the suffering and poverty that they live in. Though I doubt that will actually happen.

A lot of notorious figures died this year. Bin Laden, Gaddafi, Kim Jong Il. The American government must be jumping for joy right now.In all seriousness, I hope North Korea will now begin to make a transition towards freedom and democracy, eventually reuniting the Korean nation as one.

I hope he burns in hell along with hitler and osama.

I'm waiting to see if liberals blame Bush for it, or give Obama credit for it.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
