Red Hot Chili Peppers. Hands down. Under the Bridge, Californication, and Scar Tissue?

Van Halen, definitely. They have insane bass/guitar/drum/singing parts, and they're absolutely amazing. I'm not just saying that because I'm really biased for them, Eddie Van Halen is an amazing guitarist, and the game is called Guitar Hero after all.
I would have to go with Nirvana! I don't know how old you guys are or if you remember the evil boy band New Kids On The Block and others similar to them but Nirvana brought back "COOL" at a time were popular bands were made for screaming teeny-bopper girls, Nirvana came roaring in to save the day! That deserves it's place in Guitar Hero plus their countless hit songs!
Besides Curt Cobain is the man Another would be PANTERA! Dime Bag is the man! They also have enough hit songs and hardcore riffs to make for a great game!
I'd say the Beatles, but they're already getting their own game (The Beatles: Rock Band, in stores 9-9-09, yay! ), so instead I'll say Eric Clapton. It could include songs from all the different band he's been affiliated with: The Yardbirds, John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers, Cream, Blind Faith, the Plastic Ono Band, and his solo career.
Dream Theatre would be a great offering. Rush would be another I would like to see. I would like to see the rock band drum set for that.
U2, no doubt in my mind, but only because the Beatles are getting their own game already.
Alice in Chains is one I would absolutely love to see. They have a good mix of heavy groovy songs, and slower stuff. They could also throw in some of their unplugged versions of several songs.
Actually, Pink Floyd; Sid Barrett, David Gilmore, Bam!
I would say RUSH I know the band is canadian but their music is really intence for just a three person band. It would be a test of the game player as a whole.
Great question- Big guitar bands deserve it. The obscure cool guys aren't gonna sell copies anymore- Clapton, Peter Green, Peter Frampton sorry... Led Zeppelin AC/DC The Floyd The Who now, if only people would learn REAL guitars....
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
