What can a philosophy major do in the military?

In the civilian world, Philosophy majors are typically pre-law or pre-med, if they are not pursuing a career in philosophy (become a professor themselves). Philosophy majors supposedly have the highest acceptance rating in these two disciplines (that's what people told me at UF). So in the military, I would definitely say pre-law is very useful.

The military can always use good lawyers. You could be a JAG officer. Otherwise, i'm not really sure.It really depends on what branch of philosophy is your forte.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
