Fatigue is also a common side effect of depression, anxiety, and sleeplessness, three symptoms that are obviously common when you've been diagnosed with cancer. Add to that treatments such as radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and the other medications used to treat secondary symptoms, and you have all the ingredients (or perhaps too many) for a complete lack of energy.
In addition, some of the other health problems you're likely to experience due to your cancer, or to its treatment, include chronic pain, nausea and vomiting, appetite loss, dehydration, and moreā¦ all things that can easily wear you out and leave you weak.
