What can I do for my bearded dragon that seems very sick, dragging his body around, and not having the proper heat?

Make sure that it's the proper temperature for his species in his habitat. If reptiles get too chilly, or rather their environment isn't warm enough, they will try to hibernate. If it isn't a low enough temperature that they would hibernate at in the wild, they could die.

Also, they need more than just heat from, say a heat rock. A basking lamp is good for reptiles so they can get vitamins they need from the lamps that they could from the sun in nature. If they don't get this, they could get numerous ailments from deficiencies.

I would check with a vet to be on the safe side. I'm including some links for possible illnesses in bearded dragons. The things I'm seeing closest to what you've described are an infection or parasite, though I don't know the full problem with him.

I also have never had a bearded dragon. I have a red-earred slider (turtle), but that's obviously not the same! ;-).

He may just be brumating. caringforbeardeddragon.com/dragon-health.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
