What they mean when they say that "it can be used for so much more" is that it makes a great non-blog website backbone. It is well geared SEO-wise, so using WP to set up a website works pretty well. In terms of the functionality that it gives you, there is a little bit more than Blogger (at least more than Blogger when I last used it) but there are no hidden/special features that would worth putting on your computer if you are not going to be using it on a site.
But whereas most Blogger sites have a similar look to them, you can get things to look vastly different in Wordpress: Example 1: uberreview.com Example 2: weinterrupt.com What makes Wordpress great is the amount of plug-ins and the amount of people that use it. This makes it quite easy to add cool features to a website that would otherwise require a tremendous amount of work. There is a huge support community because of the amount of people that use the platform - so when things go wrong then there are plenty of people to help.
Personally, I don't think that Wordpress is the best blog script - I think that distinction goes to Drupal - you can do a LOT more with Drupal. What I do think though is that Wordpress is the best blog script to use because of the support, that you can do pretty much all that you need to with it, and because of the massive community. I love Wordpress - it is better than blogger, but not that much better.
The people who talk about how much more there is that you can do with Wordpress are just talking it up.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
