The two almost identical homes built in 1904 by brothers, Michael and Timothy Riordan are open to the public at the Riordan Mansion storic State Park in Flagstaff, AZ atop the Kinlichi Knoll. The homes are connected by a meeting area and along with the period furnishings are a fine exhibition of the dwellings of the more affluent citizens during the settlement period. The Riordan brothers were successful businessmen and were involved heavily in the areas of lumber, cattle, banking, and railroads, along with being involved in the politics of the area.
Besides the furnishings, Riordan memorabilia is on exhibit, like photographs, letters, magazines, etc. The architect was the notable Charles Whittlesey who also designed the El Tovar Hotel at the Grand Canyon. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
