What causes the error 'The instruction at address referenced memory at address The memory could not be read' and how do you fix it?

Answer I received this error after downloading and installing the Google Toolbar. The error went away after uninstalling the toolbar When using Internet Explorer to open Adobe, Word other documents an error message is generated when IE is closed The error reads something like: Application error. The memory could not be "read So I guess an obivious solution is to un-install Google toolbar if it is installed I guess altough the problem got solved in my case by uninstalling the Google toolbar but the problem lies not with the toolbar but with a bug in the homepage of the site.. coz I used to receive the error only after closing specific sites and not all of them. Turns out that when my application starts, it auto-opens the last directory that was worked in I had taken one of the files in that directory and modified it to print text on the photo using a different application. Therefore my original application which usually starts out with showing thumbnails caused the error pop-up because it is not used to non-photo information being inside of the file I renamed the directory that was last worked in by the application and viola… my things now works again I was able to single out the faulty file, opened it up with a different application and noticed it was the one I placed the text inside of weeks earlier.
