As we grow older, we typically look for more energy-efficient ways to do things. Our leg muscles seem to get tired more quickly. One of the easiest things to do to conserve strength and stave off fatigue is to straighten, or "lock," our knees while standing.
Doing so allows us to stand on our joints (which possibly contributes to arthritis) instead of using our muscles to hold us up. When we lock our knees to stand, the thigh, hamstring, and gluteal (butt) muscles don't need to turn on. Do this often enough and they forget how to turn on.
Pretty soon we even develop the ability to walk or run while keeping these muscles, usually the gluteals, turned off.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
