What Chevy models have the best Gas Mileage and how do they compare to closes competition?

I searched all over and this is what I came up with from automotive.com. These are all 2010 vehicles. Chevy Cobalt - 25 city 37 highway Chevy Aveo 27 34 Chevy Malibu 22 30 Chevy Equinox 20 29 Ford Fiesta 29 38 Ford Fusion 22 31 Ford Focus 24 35 Ford Escape 19 25 Honda Civic 26 34 Honda Insight 40 43 Honda Fit 28 35 Honda Accord 21 31 Toyota Prius 51 48 Toyota Yari 29 36 Corolla 26 34 Camry 22 32 Matrix 25 21 As you can see the Chevy Cobalt, Ford Fiesta and Honda Civic don't even come close to the Toyota Prius.

The Honda Insight did better than the Chevy Aveo, Ford Fusion, and even the Toyota Yaris. I don't know enough about cars to compare engine sizes but I think they are similar in size. The Chevy Volt I believe is the car I saw advertised that runs on a battery and thus the high mileage per gallon. It can run 40 miles on the battery with no gas.

The problem with this vehicle is it is going to cost about $15,000 more than cars in its category. I didn't see any information about how much it costs in electricity to charge the battery up every day. And, how long does the battery last and what it will cost to replace it?

It looks like it is supposed to get around 57 mpg when using the gas part of it. I don't know how accurate that is. Apparently Nissan is coming out with the Leaf which is totally electric and will sell for around $32,000.

I would never spend that much for a car. I have two used Toyotas that will run forever that I am very happy with. I would rather put the money somewhere else other than a vehicle, if I had that kind of money!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
