What did Laura Ingalls 1 doll made out of?

Laura's very first doll was a corncob named Susan, and so likewise she was made of corn, and wrapped in a bit of cloth. Laura's second doll was a rag doll called Charlotte and Caroline (her Ma) made her, with blue and pink calico cloth for the dress, black yarn for the hair, which she raveled to make curly, black buttons for the eyes, drew eyebrows with a black pencil, and made ink from pokeberries to give her rosy cheeks and red lips. Her body was cloth as well.
