I'm only 20 years old, so I can't really attest for much. However, when I was younger, I wanted to be an Astronaut, or FBI Agent; growing up, I've discovered that not only were those professions dangerous, they just weren't for me. I now want to become a writer, and I plan on this dream becoming a reality.
I think FIRST I realized that I wanted to change people's lives some how. This thought led me down the writing path. For me, making money was never the destination...it was always the thought of someone reading my work and being inspired, thought-provoked, or "changed" by what they read.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
