Crickets are a lot less dangerous to you than spiders Crickets eat just about anything -- they're omnivorous. You'll find them in your garden eating rotten tomatoes and other debris. They'll even eat other insects, including each other.

They can also get into your house and eat paper, clothes, or anything else they feel like eating. Sometimes they'll chew on something that's wet, just to get moisture. And once they're in your house, they'll wake you up in the middle of the night with their chirping songs.

Crickets would only try to bite a person in self defense. For instance if you picked one up and squeezed it. However, the bite would not break the skin.

If you need to handle crickets, all you need to do is make a little housewith your hands so the cricket can't get out or won't get squashed. Therewill be some people who will have difficulty with this, though thecrickets won't hurt them, won't spit out juice, and don't carry anydiseases that I know of. They will bite when captured "They are omnivorous, feed readily on bread crumbs and are particularly attracted to liquids, especially beer and sweetened vinegar. When these liquids are placed in suitable containers, they may drown due to their fondness of liquids. They are predacious on other insects as well as one another.

The house crickets are pugnacious little animals and they will bite when captured. They will attack paper, rubber and a wide variety of foods. " Sources: ivyhall.district96.k12.il.us/4TH/KKHP/1i... .

No, crickets don't bite Crickets eat anything, as they're omnivorous, but they don't eat people :) Nor do they bite. They mostly eat rotten plant matter and dead insects.

1 I hope people from Texas will help you with this ----- however, here in MIchigan, I used to get a lot of them in my basement and I would find them in the dirty clothes that came down the clothes chute. Besides scaring me to death, I learned they do eat clothes like moths do. I corrected that problem by putting a barrel under my chute to catch all of the clothes.

You can spray the perimeter of your house outside and if you have no babies or pets and your house is on a slab you could spray your baseboards. I recently moved into a condo that is on a slab and have had a few teeny little crickets sneaking in. My cat finds them, but I have taken to spraying my sills and door frames floors to discourage their entrance .

3 I've lived in Texas for over 15 years and have handled TONS of crickets. They are seasonal and come in swarms in late summer - early fall. I have never ever been bitten by a cricket (I don't even think that's possible?) and you should not be afraid to pick one up at all.

They are fast and jumpy and hard to catch, but they are completely harmless. They are a great food source for many birds, reptiles, and other bugs! However, I'm sure they can be an annoyance.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
