What do I do when struck by literary impotence?

Best exercise I've ever used is to shut off all of the lights in the room you are in and block all light sources out. Light a candle and maybe throw on some music. Then I close my eyes and write the wrods that just flow into my mind.

Don't stop until you are finished and then read it over and you'll either get ideas or maybe better understand why you've got writer's block.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
