What do people in Berlin do in autumn?

A popular activity in Berlin at any time of year, but especially between September and November, is that of Bear Blasting. This involves one fully grown bear, usually imported from America, which is shot repeatedly with a special gun known as Ahab's Crosshairs. This weapon is usually reserved for whales, but for Bear Blasting the rules can bed bent a little.
