What do the female reindeer do when Santa takes the males out on Christmas eve?

Santa's reindeer are of both sexes In Reindeer, both males and females grown antlers and, in fact, if they all have antlers on Christmas Eve then they are likely to be female, as the older males lose theirs in December Anyway, Vixen is definitely a female name... and I'm not so sure about Prancer and Cupid being male!
