What do you do to make your partner smile and feel deeply loved and appreciated?

I tell him often that I appreciate all that he is and all that he does. Its so important to actually say it....

I give my husband back massages without him asking me to do so. He'll just be lying on the bed, talking about how sucky his day was and I'll take it upon myself to give him a massage. Sometimes he goes to sleep afterwards, but eventually he'll wake up and kiss me and say thanks.

:).

It is difficult to suggest one minute strategy as such, however there are lot of things you can do to make your partner feel loved and appreciated. One of the easiest ways to do is to thank them for the simplest of things. For example, if your wife cooks daily for you, thank her and tell her how much you appreciate it.

Also, compliments mean a great deal - compliment your partner about how they look, how they handle things, etc.

Leave small notes saying you love them, in a place where they least expect to find them. When they find the notes they will be pleasantly surprised.

Its the small things that count in life and I am sure your partenr would appreciate it.

I noticed you said '1 minute stategies' so I'm not sure what much to suggest for something that quick except to actually say it, that you love them. Making your partner feel truly and completely loved and cared about, then it should be that way from the beginning - and maintained. Doing simple things, such as holding doors or maybe occasionally surprising them with flowers or something they like, is only the tip of the iceberg for success.

Of course, this goes with the knowledge that the two should care for each other sincerely and aren't just using a relationship as shelter. Couples like that normally seem to eat away at each other until it, at some point, ends. I can admit that when you see the same person so consistently you begin to "get used to it" and get comfortable, and sometimes it can lead to someone taking the relationship for granted.

Everyone dates as they live out their lives, but mainly I'm speaking on the terms of committed couples who found the one they're willing to be with for the rest of their life. Or not, 2011 is a different time and relationships have expanded the boundaries of traditional etiquettes. Regardless of that, a person's feelings towards their spouse should always be sincere.

They also cannot let their guard slip or they may ending losing the thing that they didn't realize was the most important thing in the world to them.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
