Its France, they pass a law you have to follow it if you want to live their. Just like any other country, you cannot pick and choose what laws you want to follow. BTW, when the Qu'ran refers to veiling it does not state a literal veil but is saying veil in a figurative sense which is often misinterpreted by co-called religious scholar.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
