What do you think about using two different accounts on hubpages?

Several people do this if they have more than one style of writing or viewpoints. Others like myself go ahead and write in a variety of topics under one name/account. I don't see there is anything wrong with it.It's more of a matter of being able to balance the two accounts for the writer in question than anything else.

I have two accounts. One is for fun, NMLady. The other is an account mostly for my students at University, BusinessOpsMngmnt.

I use two different styles of writing for them. They have different reasons for existing.....

I wouldn't do it. It's hard enough for me to keep a blog and my HubPages account going.

I think that in some cases it's not only acceptable, but even necessary. For example; I do spiritual work under a different name. I've learned that people who are interested in my "factual" writing (ie.

Business, writing lessons, etc. ) can become uncomfortable when I start posting about spiritual topics or simply start losing interest. For the sake of followers who are looking for specific information, genres or want to stay in their comfort zone, I choose to keep the two identities separate. Therefore, I will be starting a second account in the near future.

I have a difficult enough time keeping up with one account. It seems that many hubbers write about a variety of things under one name. It shouldn't change your income from ads either because you would have just as many hubs advertising under one name instead of two.

I would thiink it would be easier to consolidate.

This is interesting. I try to just use one name and avatar everywhere that I write, so that I build a little bit of a following. I never thought about using using names for different types of articles, but I can see why some people might find that it works for them.

Well I see it in two ways - Its twice the work to maintain a good HubScore on both accounts, securing your stream of income. So is that really worth it? However at the moment I can think of a reason why you would want one.

If you had an account strictly about something, such as Video Game reviews or Celeb Gossip, Etc. Then another one about everything or or strictly on a different topic. I have found that there are people I want to fan because they write amazing Hubs about current events, but also posts a bunch of other stuff I NEVER want to see.

That repels me from fanning their accounts!

I m not sure but creating different accounts for different niches could be possible. Rather I will stay with a single account. More accounts means more work for publicity.

I think, I'll give a try. Actually, my name was misspelled by the school and since then I've been using wrong spelling. Now I think to correct, at least as a writer writing in correct name.

I think that if you are able to multitask like that, and if you have other styles of writing that would be necessary for multiple accounts, then be our guest.

People may do it to also increase the number of followers by making such proxy accounts I guess but they may just use one acccount to write the hubs.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
