Oh, and one reason Yahoo is better: 1) Less addicting.
I've used Yahoo answers and did not spend 1/100th of the time playing around there as I have here. While that might mean Mahalo is better, it also means I get less things done around my house (so I'll listed it as a reason Yahoo is better).
Quality of the answers is the biggest one. There are a LOT of people on Yahoo Answers that provide snarky, inaccurate or just plain mean answers to people. It often functions like an anonymous internet forum instead of a place to receive information.
Also, people do not often provide references or citations in their answers. Mahalo Answers are well-researched, polite and thoughtful. I also really like that there is a way to refute someone's answer if you disagree with it.
There is no such fact-checking vehicle on Yahoo Answers.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
