YES you do need a smaller one. If you cant find a smaller one where you live order online (i suuggest bodyartforms.com ;) And no do not use a plastic one... only steeal, titanium, or glassmshould be used to stretch with/fresh piercing. Other materials are porous and can cause infection.
Vaseline isnt good to use on your ears either, it doisnt let the piercing breathe. Using natural plant oils (i recommen vitamen Eoil or jojoba oil... which can also be found on bodyartforms.com) as lubricants or extra virgen olive oil is best. Also helps to stretch after a hot shower... the skin is more elastic.
When stretching there should never be PAIN to the point where youi need to numb your ears! Thats a big no, no. Yes theres suppose to be some 'discomfort', but it should never be painful.
It seems like you need to learn alot more about this, and I hope its a good reason youre stretching your ears... not just cuz its trendy and cool -_- Heres some links that will give you lots of info about some things you should know.... http://forums.bodyartforms.com/showthrea... http://forums.bodyartforms.com/showthrea... http://www.bodyartforms.com/help_Measure...
Do not force it if it hurts. You DO need smaller jewelry. Worst case scenario, buy a regular earring and wrap it in plumbers tape until you can get the 2mm jewelry to fit.
A taper would be extremely helpful though. Pain is not good.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
