Now that the Consumer Electronics Show is already over, we have a clear view of the top iPad competitors. Motorola introduced its 4G tablet Xoom, which was given the top award at the show. Xoom is expected to give a tough competition to iPad.
The tablet features 10.1 inch screen with expandable memory. The tablet is capable of running on 4G network, although in the beginning it will utilize 3G network. The tablet runs on Android Honeycomb operating system.
Another exciting tablet is Research in Motion’s PlayBook. The tablet will sync with BlackBerry phones and is meant for corporate and enterprise use. This tablet is also capable of running on 4G network.
These tablets are expected to be sound competitors to iPad thanks to many features such as cameras and expandable storage.
