What does a Mucous Plug Look Like?

Mucous plugs are very nasty to look at. They are mixed in colors. They are mixed with blood, greenish, yellowish, and even a brownish color.

Your mucus plug looks like a greenish yellow gel. It really resembles the mucus in your nose although sometimes it can have a brown tint to it.
