People that have HIV/AIDS look completely normal. Now, if you met someone that had full blown AIDS and the disease was in its advanced stages, you may notice scabs on their skin, these are called lesions. You should always protect yourself when sexually active or if you come into contact with blood, because you can not tell just by looking at someone if the have HIV/AIDS.
The HIV virus doesn't really look like anything to the human eye. Once those with the HIV virus have had it a while, they themselves get really skinny. However, in actuality it is really hard to spot out a person that is skinny and say they have HIV because there are really so many other possibilities.
