What does it mean when you thought you were 6 weeks pregnant but your HCG level is very low?

I just went through a similar situation and let me share my experience. I went to the doctor on 2/14/08 and he said I was 5 weeks pregnant. He took my blood and called me back the following week.

He said my HCG level was 118 when it should have been way higher. He asked me to take another blood test on 2/19 and said if everything was okay my levels would be over 500. Well.. I was freaking out for those couple of days before he called me back thinking I miscarried.My HCG levels came back at 1200 just 4 days later!

Well he said, that my conception date wasnt my true conception date. While my LMP indicated I conceived on 1/21, I conceived on 1/28/08.So my HCG levels were low because I was barely 4 weeks pregnant when I went in the first time My advice, get your blood drawn again but don't let yourself panic or freak out. Pray and try to stay calm until you can get your second results back.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
