It depends on the guy. Some guys just don't want to ruin a good thing and are scared that this may ruin the relationship. Other guys may have action on the side so they don't need it from you too.

I know this answer probably didn't help but if I was your boyfriend it would be so I did not ruin the relationship. Sometimes just being with a person is enough without the physical part.
