Jesus died just after Passover, there is no record in the Bible of the exact time of his birth - it is speculated though by the record that it was in the mid Fall, around harvest time. There were flocks of sheep out at night (which they would not be in December), the citizens were taxed annually and had to go to their places of birth to register - this also would have been done during the Fall as winter would be too hazardous to travel. In no way does the Bible say that Jesus was born at Passover time.
Also the record when he was 12, that was not Passover. There are many feasts and festival times in the Jewish religion, not just Passover. It was during one of these other festivals that Joseph and Mary, along with 12 year old Jesus went to Jerusalem to worship.
Why do we celebrate Christmas on Dec 25th even though Jesus was not born on that date? It was a Pagan holiday celebrating winter solstice and there was child sacrifice, etc. The early Christians wanted to stop that practice and they overran the pagans and turned that celebration into a celebration of the birth of Jesus.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
