What does non-coded access or preselection mean?

We now have a system in Australia which allows you to register with as many carriers as you like. You can then determine the carrier to be used for each call by inserting a four-digit code in front of the number dialled. If you insert these four digits (1411 for Telstra), this is called "coded access" or "digit insertion".

However, when no 14xx code is dialled, the telephone system has somehow to choose one carrier. For every phone there is therefore one "preferred carrier" which is "preselected" and which the system will use where no 14xx code is used. This is known as "non-coded access".

More.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
