What does Semantics Mean?

Semantics means the study of meaning in language. There are a different ways in which semantics has been approached or theorized: interpretive semantics, generative semantics, and semantics argued from a psychological perspective. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
