What does the "Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted" truly mean? (HELP!)?

Time is an illusion, space is an illusion etc.... All time is now, everything is happening now....that is Truth. But we don't see it. In this physical form/existence we see things from a finite perspective.

In truth Infinity is what really is. The idea of chaos magic is interesting. "do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law for it harms none".

It allows for free will on all sides, in all aspects of life. We all choose our wins and our losses. Each of us plays roles in this illusion, some play the role of victim, some choose the role of villain.

It is how it is. There are no devils or gods, we are them....we create the idea that these gods and devils exist outside of us, as a way to dissolve ourselves of any responsibility for being either the good or the bad. So everything is permitted....that's the way the cosmos works.

Is everything accepted? Depends on the level of your understanding. An enlightened being (excuse the term).

Will behave in a different manner than an unenlightened being. Not because they judge, but because they understand the sacredness of all of life. So nothing is true....everything is permitted.

This is the nature of cosmic reality. And it is layered.

This is just my opinion but it seem that when it says "nothing is true" its referring to how in the grand scheme of our reality, and bare with me, nothing is really true. History is written by the winner, not written in truth, stories are filled with the biased of the person telling or writing it. And even knowledge that is passed down is only based on an understanding that now is plausible but will soon be refuted with further research.

Going back to the point of history and current events. Think about or world. Covered in conspiracies.

Government is never to be trusted and so on. "everything is permitted" can be taken literal but I think that would be losing its punch. What is taboo now will be done tomorrow.

That's just how our society works. Look at for example gay marriage rights. Just 10 years ago people were screaming no, now they are screaming yes.

Society is fickle and not to be trusted government is powerful, dishonest and sneaky history as we know it is wrong and we are only getting a bit of the truth told to us by people who weren't even around to see it. Should you live life by this? Only if your adding it to your preexisting knowledge other then that, no.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
