I use multiple ones I have one based with my internet company for family and friends. I have a yahoo and hotmail account I use for spam or whenever I'm concerned about giving out my regular address.

Gmail is the best, hands down. I love gmail. It meets all of my expectations hands down.

I got Gmail about 2 years ago by recruiting an invite from one of those gmail invite sites. And prior to getting it I was considering paying to upgrade my Yahoo account so I could have POP forwarding. Thank goodness I didn't (my Yahoo inbox is now filled with spam.

G-Mail (from Google), and I love it! Here's why I like G-Mail so much: Huge, huge amounts of storage. Though you can delete items, there's no real need to, and folders are also not needed, because--if you 'archive' your mail, G-Mail saves it somewhere off-screen.

To retrieve it, you simpy type any word or phrase from the email. G-Mail brings up a list of everything you've archived with that phrase in it (highlighted), so you can find it right away. Obviously, you should be as specific in your search as you can be--someone's name, an event, whatever--just like when you search for something on line anywhere else.

G-Mail automatically creates threads of correspondence--any e-mail is grouped with its replies, whether from one or multiple people. As long a you keep the e-mail chain going, G-Mail links and recalls it all as one item--great for keeping track of a linked series of correspondence! G-Mail wa always totally free, but you used to have to be 'invited' to join (each member was able to issue up to 100 such invitations).

Just days ago, however, G-Mail quit being a big experiment and opened its doors to anyone who wants in. One caveat that might bother you (but doesn't bother me at all): G-Mail uses some sort of automated scanner that picks up phrases in your e-mail and offers 'appropriately-themed' ads extremely unobtrusively on the far right side of the screen. Some people have said that they consider this automated scanning system to be a violation of privacy.

In my opinion, however, the Internet isn't the place to go if you want a 100% guarantee of privacy. Google says that their system isn't storing info and is as safe as possible, and I choose to believe them. They have too much riding on their reputation.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
