What exactly is a doctoral program and what are the advantages of going into one?

A doctoral program is any program that grants the student a doctorate degree upon completion of the program. A doctorate is the highest level of degree in academics. The advantages of obtaining a doctorate are many and varied.

One obvious advantage is increase in income. Another is professional respect and affluence. Still another, is the number of jobs you'll be eligible for.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
