Autocad (Computer Aided Design or Drafting) is a software that is used for 2d or 3d design or drafting. It runs on office only and it is VERY resource heavy on your PC, very demanding. You should have a higher end PC if you are running Autocad.It is pretty expensive, usually starting at $1000.

AUTOCAD - is a design and documentation software(CAD-COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN ). CAD is an important industrial art extensively used in many applications, including automotive, shipbuilding, and aerospace industries, industrial and architectural design, prosthetic and many more. CAD is also widely used to produce computer animation for special effects in movies, advertising and technical manuals.

You can use Autocad in designing curves and figures in 2D(two dimensional) space:and 3D(three dimensional) surfaces, solids and curves. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
