Pasta Alfredo with Blackened Chicken If I want to make my hubby's heart melt this is the dish to do it. I make a really mean blackened chicken by using just the right spices and charring it on the grill. Then I throw the strips on top of some alfredo sauce that I've pepped up with extra garlic and cheese.It ends up being a spicy taste explosion.

Put some garlic toast on the side and mmm mmm mmmmmm. He loves this dish so much that it's what I make when I'm in trouble. And it always puts a smile on his face!

Lasagna The first time I ever cooked a meal for my (now) husband, it was lasagna. He’d been married before to a woman who NEVER cooked. He was there in the kitchen when I started to put it together, and he perched on a little stool on the far side of the room so he could watch every move I made.It was almost comical to watch him struggle to sit there, instead of being right under my feet.

He was sitting there so he "wouldn’t be in the way", but after about 5 minutes he couldn’t stand it. He had to get off of the stool and wander over to get a closer look. I had never been under such intense scrutiny before, but I’d been cooking since I was old enough to walk, so it didn’t bother me in the least.

As the meat sauce simmered slowly on the stove and I readied the noodles on the counter top across the room, my husband stood close to the stove, keeping close watch and inhaling the fumes of the sauce. I couldn’t help myself, I finally laughed at him because he looked like a little boy in a candy store, his eyes literally dancing with delight . When he looked over to me and realized I was laughing at him, he looked extremely hurt.

Never turning from the stove he asked that classic line a man always asks when he’s unsure of what he’s done that’s so funny....."Whaaaaaaat? " I told him "Honey, it’s ONLY meat sauce!" s eyes actually turned dreamy as he looked right at me and said to me a his slow appreciative drawl, "Baby, to you it’s only meat sauce. To me it’s the finest thing I’ve smelled in over 25 years.

I like to fix a nice Italian meal for my wife on special occasions or after I know that she has had a hard day. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
