Support. The bill is perfectly acceptable. The main argument against it is that people think that it promotes racial profiling.
They think that cops can just walk up to someone on the street, and ask for proof of residency. Authorities can only demand to see proof of residency when they have a reasonable suspicion that they are an illegal immigrant(e.g. they only speak Spanish, no valid ID, etc.). Yeah, it means legal Hispanic immigrants have to carry around papers, but most are in favor of it, because of the bad rep the illegals are giving them, and because of all the trouble they went through to get their legal citizenship.
Its not 'arizona's immigration law'..........they adopted the federal law that has existed for a long time....arizona actually made their state version MORE restrictive for law enforcement than the federal law. If a cop stops someone who can not properly identify themselves, they are detained until their identity is ascertained. If that identity is that of an illegal alien, they are arrested.
NOTHING NEW.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
