The nine month checkup is an easy visit: no shots unless it's flu season! That leaves lots of time to discuss development, safety, stranger anxiety, feeding (wow -- we get to start chicken! It's a bit allergenic before then), motor skills such as cruising, climbing, walking, and other fun topics.
The pediatrician will check to see if your baby is ready for walking by checking his parachute response: Lift your baby up, then aim him toward the ground; the baby who is getting ready to walk will start to put his arms out to break his fall, whereas the baby who is not ready to walk will still be angling headfirst toward the ground. When he is ready to walk, he will also start standing flat-footed instead of up on his toes. Those are hints the pediatrician uses to tell if walking is imminent.
And don't forget that whole head-to-toe physical thing, too, with the height, weight, and head circumference.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
