What helped you negotiate terms with your creditors? What caused you to take the initiative to talk with your creditors?

When my credit card company kept raising my interest rate even though we were never late, on any of our payments. Finally I called them and asked them to lower it. They said they wouldn't.

I continued to call them, and they still wouldn't lower it. So my husband and I got mad, and paid off the credit card as quickly as possible, and then we closed our account. Having debt is bad, but having debt owed to a creditor that won't work with you is worse.

I think that this particular CC company wouldn't work with me because I still have a "young girl" voice. So it doesn't seem like I would understand interest- even though I could probably right a novel on it. Either way though- we paid them off, and we're done forever.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
