What household liquid could be used to unplug a garbage disposal?

My neighbor was a plumber and told me about using Clorox ( or any Bleach ) let it soak over night then flush with hot water! Works most of the time. Caution though it will eat the chrome off of the drain in you bathroom sink!( if you let it soak too long ).

On your disposal there should be a hex key attached . Take the hex key and at the bottom of your disposal there should be a place to insert it. Rotate the key in both directions and that should release the blockage.

And then there is a little red button you need to depress , that is the reset button. That should work for you.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
