What inspires you to write about a particular topic? Or a particular successful one?

Hotels inspire me, definitely. I like to sit in their lobbies and watch the people. I did this once in Disneyland and it was fascinating. It was a four star hotel and just after Thanksgiving.

They were setting up their Christmas decorations and it was so festive. People were walking in and out at all hours of the day.It seems like such a peaceful place to be. Quiet, comfortable, magical.

I may do a hub and use the answers for part but no names. Thanks. I hope that's ok.

And Agatha Christie wrote Murder on the Orient Express while riding on that train then she finished it in a hotel in Istanbul. For me, it is usually when I read something or see something or experience something that excites me either positively or negatively. Then I like to write about my experience of the situation or my appreciation for the subject.

Life is grand!

When I really am flabbergasted with a study I have read and if after research I believe it is not an industry paid (or biased) article (although yes, a product is always a little biased), I try to convert it into a readeable text to share it with whom ever wants to hear about it - (I can become very passionate if I believe in something)If I have a subject which is close to the heart, an illness, a happy moment, or just something that has touched me, I want to write about it ....Sometimes people ask me to write about a certain subject ... to convey an opion on a certain subject ... if I agree, of course I'll write about it ... (sometimes it's controversial 'like my opinion on bio-foods) and then some journals censor (bio-food unions ;O) -An then in the end, I sometimes achieved a goal by means I feel usefull for others to know about, learned a new technique (like how to better conserve pumpkins or apples), or just found out a new beauty remedy or delicious recipe ... then I share as well ....Then there are my passions, airbrush, gardening, landscape architecture, art, art history ... I usually do not write too much about this, since it is really not that interesting for most of the readers ... just for very specialized groups ... I might just lift a tip of the iceberg on a new finding or technique in an article, and refer to other subject matter specialists - most of the subjects have already extensively been written about ... (unless one day I invent techiniques of my own) Then lastly I used to blog for a newssite on personal experiences, my personal excercise and diet journals, my yoga achievements and how my pregnancies were evolving ... I also wrote articles on health, beauty, gardening and lifestyle ... I picked out new studies, new laws and new news facts and formulated daily opionions ... perhaps I might do this again in some sort of a blog on my own website ... but for me it is not really something to be publisched on hubpages ...hope this helps a bit /....

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
