What interesting or unique talent do you possess that most people would have no idea about?

I won a school-wide spelling bee in elementary school. (There were fewer words back then! ) I've always been a good speller.

During my career, colleagues would call me on the inter-office phone and ask how to spell a word rather than look it up in the dictionary. (This was before Spellcheck came on the scene. )As I've aged, it's easier for me to write (or type) the word than to simply try and visualize before spelling it.

I'm not sure why this is true....Does anyone know?

I can run incredibly fast. It is a skill I have always had yet never actually done anything with. Maybe I should get in shape and take part in a charity marathon or something just to see if I still got it... I used to ace sports days at school.

Wow, this question actually made me remember how much I love running :o thank you!

That I once participated in a singing contest and won..... many, many years ago!

I can write in cursive backwards as fast as I write normally. In addition I do this with my left hand, when I normally write with my right hand. You will need be a mirror to read it.

I did not train myself. I just discovered this talent when I was "scribbling" with my left hand and was surprised to see the result with a mirror.

Almost all my talents are well hidden from everyone. So I can surprise everyone.

I went to a shooting range a few weeks ago, for the first time in my life, and realized that I'm quite good at it. Never even held a gun before..and actually was able to get 3 bulls eyes. The instructors were impressed and emailed me after the course to encourage me to join the gun club...who da thunk?Lolp.

S I earned the knickname "sharp shooter" by the end of the day =).

I can play songs by blowing into my hands and making, and they actually sound pretty good to :).

The truth is, all people have some talent, and there are some that have many, but the important thing for any person is to identify and develop talent that is in them and share it with the world. Many people have a narrow view of what talent is, and many people cut themselves short as a result of a narrow view. When looking to define talent, it might be good to address the worldview of talent.

The world tends to emphasize and pay tribute only to those talents that entertain and thrill. Whether it's a talent for singing or a talent for athletics, the talents that get the most praise are the talents that leave others with a sense of awe and wonder. Now, there is nothing wrong with having a beautiful singing voice, and there is nothing wrong with being a great quarterback, but talent should not be defined only by abilities to excite an audience.

Such talents may have the most potential for monetary gain and worldwide fame, but talent has a much more significant meaning than multimillion dollar contracts or big weekend box office numbers. Talent, simply defined, is intelligence. It is a natural and innate comprehension of how to do a particular task or activity well.

Raw talent is a knowledge of how to accomplish something, and what someone does with that knowledge is completely up to them. There are people with a natural ability to speak and write clearly, and their communication style is clear; however, that doesn't mean further development of that natural ability isn't necessary. The study of grammar, linguistics, and style can help a natural born communicator more fully understand the talent he or she possesses, and from there they can use those tools to master all the elements of communication in a unique way.

Again, talent is genius in some thing or ability. Now that talent is defined in a broader sense, let's examine what some talents are. There are many other talents, maybe even thousands or millions of them, and the aforementioned examples are some of the more meaningful talents that often get overlooked by the world and the individuals who possess them.

Learning how to develop your talents is important, but first you must identify what they are. This might take some deep reflection on your part, and meditating on what your talents are isn't a prideful thing to do, especially if you are doing it with the right motivations. If you are struggling to identify what your talents are, why not ask some of the people closest to you what they think your talents are.

Most people who love you will be happy to honestly reflect on your best abilities, and that can be a great way to learn more about how your talents have affected those around you. Once you have an idea of what your talents are, it's important to develop them. The first step to developing your talents is to learn about them.

Read books about your talents; read articles about your talents, and talk to other people who possess similar talents about how they have developed those talents. Enhancing your awareness of your talents will give you a clear path to use them effectively. The second step to developing your talents, which can be done simultaneously with step one, is practicing your talents.

If you are a natural born writer, start writing every day. If you have a special knack for drawing, join an art class and draw regularly. Whatever your talent(s) may be, start doing what you can to develop any and all talents you have.

Third, use whatever talents you have to develop new talents. There is no rule that says you can't develop talents that you may not be naturally born with. If you are great at writing poetry, but you aren't particularly great at writing persuasive essays, practice writing essays.

Branching out to related areas of talent can be a great way to expand the talents you have, or, in other words, expanding the light and genius you possess. No matter who you are or where you came from, you have talent. You have a completely unique way of viewing people, things, and the world, and that view is important to helping others see a part of the world only you can.

Sharing your talents is important for your personal growth and the growth of others. So, now that we've defined talent, list your talents, develop your talents, and help others see the light only your talents can shine.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
