What is a good, small digital camera to look for? I'm looking at a Kodak Easyshare?

I'm looking at a Kodak Easyshare. I own a massive digital camera that I do not wish to take with me when I go to visit my sister out of the country.Do you have any suggestions? I'm considering a Kodak Easyshare, but looking for quality in the price.

Kodak is about to go into bankruptcy, and it may or may not be around for a lot longer. Try one of the Japanese models - I am very happy with my tiny little Pentax - small, easy to use, packed with features, and light. My daughter has a Samsung Pl120 (from Korea) that she is very happy with.

The Kodak Easyshare cameras come in a wide variety of price and features. They make a good camera. I would get the best one I could afford, and two of the features you might use more often is 'as much zoom' as you can afford, and 'optical stabilization' - I believe they call it the 'smart capture' which does a number of things in addition.

I am unaware of Kodak going into bankruptcy, and if true it is a thing to consider in the long run of repairs and such. There are lots and lots of really good cameras. A good place to compare cameras is the CNET site: reviews.cnet.com/digital-cameras/ and there are other review sites.

I was looking for a new camera a long time ago it seems and saw the name LEICA on the lens. Wow! I bought it.It was a Panasonic.
