What is a good web hosting company that offers?

What is a good web hosting company that offers.. Domain Pointers to a url (ex. Www.hi. Com automatically goes to hi.com/e107/news.Php), Unix MySQL Servers (Apache/1.3.37) NOT 2.

Anything & able to handle an e107 (php) website, included in one package? I just got the news that I would have to pay an additional $10/mo just to get the domain pointer service, when I had asked them if it was included before I bought the package. Very frustrated at the moment.

I use dreamhost. Com I've been a customer of DreamHost. Com for about two years, and never had a problem with them.

They offer everything you requested - Apache 1.3, php, MySQL, and redirects (since you can use your own . Htaccess file). They've always been very quick to respond to any customer questions or concerns, they have a monthly newsletter detailing new features, and an area on their Panel where customers can vote for features to be added to the service.

GoDaddy I’m a big fan of GoDaddy’s hosting. Primarily because they have good plans with good customer support. I have a dedicated server with them but I have helped some of my clients get set up with GoDaddy’s smaller plans.

I have been doing business with them for almost two years now and have been very happy. As far as the domain pointers are concerned, I’m pretty sure you can do it with GoDaddy’s standard hosting but if not, it is easy to create a referrer page that will jump you to the URL you want.

All you need to do is create an html page that looks like this: Automatic Forwarding Html Page The important line is the meta tage. "content=1" tells the page to refresh to the new URL after one second. The "URL=newurl.com/index.html" is where you define the page to jump to.It’s as simple as that so you don’t really need to worry whether or not your hositng company supports it.

I would be using them myself except that during a certain part of the year, I get 3 million hits in a month to a section on my site and they told me that they would not be able to handle that kind of traffic (which is completely understandable). I had already crashed servers at another major hosting company.

I went with GoDaddy because they could give me something that would work. Unfortunately, for dedicated servers, they are a bit more expensive than Dreamhost. I'm glad to hear more good things about Dreamhost and will probably send more clients there.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
