What is a realistic goal for profit on hub pages?

It's possible to earn much more than that, but a bit of study in HOW to do so might be required. There are many Hubs and forum posts on this general topic--most of them well worth the time needed for at least a quick looksee. I make much less than some do with far fewer Hubs than I've written (over 700), but I understand why: The VOICE provided by this platform (HubPages) is more important to me than the INCOME, and my work reflects that.

That said, the residual effect is very much worthwhile. I wrote something like 69 Hubs in early 2008 and then more or less forgot about them. Some months later, a check from Google suddenly showed up in the mail...and got my attention.

I have been in and out of Hubpages for a couple of years now. It has never really returned what one might call a profit. It might take several tens of hours to come up with, research and write a hub.So if by profit you mean earn enough to live, I would say it will take time abd talent to be successful that way.

For me I love the sharing of ideas, knowledge and practicing my writing skills. For me therefore the profit is the fun I get out of it. I will probably never reach the level of writing for a living, so any cash earned here is a bonus and too unreliable to consider making a real profit in traditional accounting terms.

Having said that, if you seek those profits, it is a case of study and hard work and commitment over the long term. A lot like a regular job really with no finite payoff dates. Everyone will have different timings from their own experiences.. All the best.

For a newbie I think that's normal until you discover some tricks of how to earn in a specified way, but posting hubs are fun if you share your thoughts honestly.

I earned $.01 cent on December 28, 2010 A.D. Which was my 6 months on hubpages with 0 hubs. So yes you can make money with 0 hubs through 100 percent referring sites that found my 1 article in 2 months after I put it on the internet with google on June 2010 A.D.On April 4, 2011 A.D. The word " IRREVOCABLE " appear beneath my pageviews account and my 1 article which is the 0 hubs that I have and it validated that I have written the greatest article on the earth of which everyone around the world in 8 countries so far have seen it but the members of hubpages can not see my article because it was found by the referring sites and they have spread my article around the world in 8 countries and the people who should see my article first are the ones seeing it first for it to be an blessing and use it in their daily life on the earth. My article is so great that it determines who shall see it and who shall not see it and those who will not see it for now and maybe never are the members of hubpages.

Now that is what I call the greatest article on the earth and the greatest hide and seek on the earth for my 1 article that is now since April 4, 2011 A.D. Is " IRREVOCABLE " . You shall never find it hubpages members and only the referring sites found my article and it took them 2 months to find it and during this 2 months I got 0 traffic and did nothing else but waited those 2 months knowing that it would be found by referring sites and they did find it because it is the greatest article on the earth. Could you wait 2 months with 0 traffic and keep your hands off your article because you knew that you have written the greatest article on the earth?

Well I have done that and yes my article is the greatest article in the world by having eveyone around the world to see it through the referring sites and denying members of hubpages to see my article along with the general population of the world and the internet community. A unique and very special article for the special people around the world to see it first before anyone else see it. NOW THAT IS SPECIAL.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
