What is a Renaissance Faire?

A Renaissance Faire is an amalgam of many things. It is part performance art, part arts and crafts, and part interactive learning. A recreation of a Renaissance village is filled with costumed actors, crafts and games to give patrons the illusion that they have stepped back in time.

The Southern Connecticut Renaissance Festival features over 50 performances on 6 stages and over 40 merchant booths set on 15 acres of Warsaw Park.
