Angina is, simply put, chest pain caused when oxygen rich blood flow to the heart is decreased. It can be described as a heaviness, squeezing, pulling or pressure sensation that occurs mainly in the chest but can also be felt in the neck, arm, back or jaw. Some say it feels like someone is "standing on their chest".
