The code igniter framework returns the results of the query and you don't need to run the mysql_fetch_* functions on the result. See here for an example of how to use it: codeigniter.com/user_guide/database/acti....

You should iterate through your results this way: foreach ($query->result() as $row){ ... echo $row->title; // just an example }.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
